The Awesomest Art Thing Ever
Funded by a grant from the City of Hartford and nurtured by the folks at the Hartford Business Improvement District, The Awesomest Art Thing Ever is an open art installation project turning open Downtown storefronts into art installations by city residents. We wanted the supporting material to command the attention of Downtown foot traffic with bright colors, and a whimsical irreverance. The resulting posters and storefront displays containing a selection of victorian-era illustration composed with hip-hop slang against a vibratingly neon backdrop. The Awesomest Art Thing Ever.
