Beautiful Losers
Poster and Event Materials for the AIGA Connecticut screening of Beautiful Losers, a film about art and inspiration. The butterfly image is drawn from the original theatrical poster and expanded with the inclusion of some other critters. The image behind is a photograph I'd taken in Frog Hollow the previous winter —I wanted to expand upon the film's "Make Something From Nothing" tag line by having these bright colors sort of explode forth from an otherwise dismal winter scene. Plus, it added a little homespun touch to the piece, a little Connecticut shout-out for the AIGA CT Screening.
