Design is a Good Idea Poster
This poster is important to me because it introduced me to the poster "As a document of research." Leading up to getting started on it, as a class we looked at the work of Martin Venezky and Allen Hori, and I couldn't help but really get into it. This poster is meant to document the work of Rudy Vanderlans and Zuzana Licko of Emigre fame (Note: This project also began my obsession with collecting as manyEmigre magazines as possible) using their coined double entendre "Design is a Good Idea," while coding and decoding its meaning to the designers themselves. Designed as a part of Scott Santoro's senior project class at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
